High Speed Filtration
Hydron filters are suitable for removing suspended dirt particles from water at a speed of up to 3000 liters per minute, effectively at a recommended sand depth of 500mm.
Design
The shape of the filter is both attractive and functional. The spherical ends are designed to give uniform flow from both inlet distribution and outlet collection assemblies. The system provides adequate distribution to uniformly expand the filter bed during backwash and the entire media bed is utilized during the filter cycle.
Construction
Manufactured from totally corrosion resistant and non-toxic materials. Hydrons are suitable for a variety of fresh and saltwater applications. The underdrain system is non-clogging and is fitted with an automatic air bleed. Each tank is rigorously pressure-tested to the highest standards.
