The sanitation of your pool water occurs when dissolved salt water passes between the chlorinator’s specially designed titanium electrodes. A chemical reaction takes place and ionic chlorine is produced which instantly combines with the pool water to reside as the available chlorine sanitizer.

The self clean models have been designed to eliminate the need to clean cell electrodes, utilizing reverse-polarity technology to remove calcium build-up and leaving electrodes clean and clear for optimum performance.
Construction
The Electrochlor chlorinator is constructed using long lasting and durable materials. The cell housing is constructed from clear u.v. stabilized acrylic, while the power pack body is constructed using high quality, engineering grade thermoplastics. Electrical connections and fuses are located underneath the vertical housing and are well protected from the elements. The salt cell is constructed with two sets of specially coated titanium electrodes for the reversing anode and cathode configuration. The large lock ring makes the titanium electrodes easily removable from housing.
