System Description The ACROW U-Form system is based around a robust steel framed panel with plywood fixed within the frame as the panel face. The system has been successfully used by the industry for over three decades. The lightweight panels are easily handled yet offer a strong and durable formwork solution for various forms of construction.
ACROW U-Form is used for construction of walls or columns and can be gang formed with ACROW Slim-Late Soldiers for crane handling. The basic system employs Snap ties to join the two faces of form together for conventional walls. The reusable key and wedge joins the panels together and at the same time locks the Snap tie in place making erection and stripping a simple operation.

The erection and application instructions contained in this document are the recommended methods to be used for ACROW U-Form products.
The technical instructions contained in this brochure must be accurately followed to achieve the correct function of the product. Any deviation from the recommended usage will require a separate design and/or verification by the Boral Formwork & Scaffolding Engineering Department.
The use and application of the ACROW U-Form system must be in accordance with AS3610, Occupational Health and Safety Regulations, approved industry codes of practice and relevant regulatory authority requirements in conjunction with information in this document.
The illustrations in these assembly instructions are guidelines only. Maximum capacities are only applicable for equipment in good condition and free from defects. The combined use of ACROW U-Form with equipment from other suppliers may entail performance problems and therefore requires a design check and/or verification by the Boral Formwork &Scaffolding Engineering Department.
Safety Warning
It is recommended that users of the ACROW U-Form system employ and implement appropriate procedures and control measures to eliminate or control any risk of musculoskeletal disorder/injury while manually handling ACROW U-Form components.
Refer to the Code of Practice on manual handling published by local Work cover Authority or other approved and recognized guidelines for correct and appropriate manual handling procedures.
